LIFE GYPRESCUE is a partner of the ISULA MUNTAGNA festival.
The team will be running a stand where you can find out more about the Bearded Vulture and the work of the field officers. You'll also be able to measure yourself against Europe's largest bird of prey, one of Corsica's most emblematic species.
On the programme:
- Martin Boone's documentary on the Bearded Vulture in Corsica, produced as part of the LIFE GYPRESCUE programme. It presents, with great sensitivity, the Bearded Vulture and also the activities of the agents who work to protect it. All the footage was shot ethically, with the greatest respect for the animals filmed, at the cost of many hours of observation.
- Another film about a bird of prey: the eagle, which plays a central role in Kazakh society. A young girl becomes a master eagle, a role hitherto reserved for men...
The three screenings start at 6pm, with the two films on the programme, discussions with the directors Martin Boone and Hamid Sardar and a spuntinu.
